What belongs in a white-label GEO delivery scope?

A white-label GEO scope should name who researches the claim, approves the facts, changes the page and checks delivery. Study 7 extracted 2,003 category criteria from 2,093 eligible answers captured on 22 and 23 September 2026. That volume makes the boundary between a research output and an implemented client change worth stating before work begins.

What we measured

Measured. Study 7 examined criteria stated before the first vendor name in the September answer collection. Its derived method retained 2,093 eligible answers across 14 categories, after two further study exclusions from the original Index's 2,095 eligible inputs. It saved 10,547 supporting text spans, 2,417 vendor-association passages and 10,015 dated page comparisons across 70 mapped vendor pages. The criteria were AI-stated, not independently verified buyer requirements. Team review remains in progress, with no independently verified criteria in the published review state.

What this means for you

Reasoned. Write the scope as a chain of handovers. For research, specify which category and question set the partner covers and which source passages accompany its conclusions. For factual approval, identify the client role that can confirm a product feature, plan or integration. For implementation, list the actual page or asset to change and the person with permission to publish it.

Then define the evidence of completion. A proposed edit is ready for approval when its claim and source agree. An implemented edit needs the served URL and a dated check of the visible text. Keep outreach as a separate, expressly agreed activity; producing an answer page does not authorise contacting publishers or customers.

The white-label arrangement also needs correction ownership. Decide who receives a disputed fact, who changes the underlying record and who informs the client. Branding the report does not transfer responsibility for a claim that nobody has checked.

  • For the agency: retain access to the source receipt behind each partner recommendation.
  • For the delivery partner: distinguish research delivered, approval received and change served.
  • For the client: ask who can correct a factual error after the engagement ends.
