Synthetic Category Audit , Northstar Lab
Synthetic learning example , not a client result or live AI measurement. Prepared 2026-09-24; version bw-content-2026-09-24-v1. No client, live engine, payment or delivered engagement is represented. Scenario timestamps are authored fixture metadata.
Executive decision
Fictional buyer: a small laboratory evaluating formulation-record software. The strongest supported issue is a contradiction between the exercise integration draft and its product sheet. Prepare a bounded clarification of connector type and edition requirements. No observation establishes that this wording caused an absence, that any real engine would respond differently, or that a sale was lost.
Priority order: DEMO-WO-01 fixes the direct integration contradiction; DEMO-WO-02 adds missing prerequisites; DEMO-WO-03 prepares a source-name correction for later authorized review. Implementation and any live review session are separate unless expressly included in the actual engagement. No purchase is justified by these fictional measurements.
Actual fixture coverage
Six authored observation slots; three completed; one failed; one untested; one uncertain. Of the completed records, one has a reviewed present mention, one a reviewed absent mention and one awaits classification. The reviewed mention denominator is two. This small synthetic set has no population, independent-buyer or real performance interpretation.
All records use engine fictional-test-surface, interface local-fixture, provider null, method synthetic-example-v1. Locale context: en-US fictional exercise; times are fixture metadata on September 24, 2026. No provider calls ran. The question IDs and receipt IDs are preserved in the exact JSON appendix. This six-slot teaching fixture does not replace any contracted Audit measurement allowance.
What the evidence supports
Finding F-01: DEMO-RECEIPT-001 names Northstar Lab and describes connector-based export. That is a present mention, not a recommendation. Separately DEMO-PAGE-01 says native on every plan, while DEMO-FACT-01/02 state third-party connector, Team edition and separate account. This independent conflict supports reviewing the draft wording; it does not establish a ranking cause.
Finding F-02: DEMO-RECEIPT-002 omits the current and former fictional names in a completed reviewed answer about migration. No cause is known. DEMO-PAGE-02 separately omits edition/account prerequisites supplied by DEMO-FACT-02. Missing page detail is distinguished from a false statement.
Finding F-03: DEMO-PAGE-03 uses the former name as current, while DEMO-FACT-03 distinguishes them. A correction draft is supported. No request was sent and no listing changed. Historical records retain their original names.
Three implementation-ready proposals
DEMO-WO-01 , Clarify third-party integration scope (P1)
Direct contradiction could misstate compatibility and edition fit.
Affected fixture URL: https://example.com/demo/integrations/atlas. Evidence: DEMO-PAGE-01, DEMO-FACT-01, DEMO-FACT-02.
Proposed change: Replace the unsupported draft with: “Export to Atlas Analytics through the third-party BridgeKit connector. Requires Northstar Lab Team edition and a separately configured BridgeKit account. Confirm the documented prerequisites before setup.” Link the approved exercise product sheet; do not state a price or activation time.
Scope: One integration paragraph and its duplicated on-page summary; no connector implementation or new page allowance.
Dependencies: Current approved product fact version; Authorized page owner and scoped allowance; Existing release path and preview.
Recommended role: Product content editor; technical/product reviewer. Real owner, approver and due date remain unassigned.
Acceptance:
- Native and every-plan claims removed from the scoped paragraph and its duplicated summary.
- Connector type, Team edition and separate account prerequisite visible together.
- Source version DEMO-DOC-01 is linked in the implementation record; fictional product reviewer role checks every factual clause.
- Keyboard-accessible source link; no overflow at 360, 768 and 1440 pixels.
- Fictional status remains in the page preview and export.
Recheck: After actual publication evidence, product approval and a separately authorized matching question/method recheck.
Rollback: Restore only the changed paragraph from the owner-recorded previous page revision. Preserve legitimate unrelated changes.
DEMO-WO-02 , State edition and account prerequisites (P2)
Missing prerequisites can leave an evaluator unable to assess edition fit; no contradictory price is established.
Affected fixture URL: https://example.com/demo/editions. Evidence: DEMO-PAGE-02, DEMO-FACT-02.
Proposed change: Add below the BridgeKit export description: “Available for Northstar Lab Team edition in this fictional catalogue. A separately configured BridgeKit account is required. Price and setup timing are not specified in this exercise; confirm current terms before deciding.” Preserve all existing price and contract fields.
Scope: One explanatory block; no price, contract, credit, guarantee or purchased allowance change.
Dependencies: DEMO-FACT-02; Unchanged current commercial record; Page owner review.
Recommended role: Product content editor; commercial reviewer. Real owner, approver and due date remain unassigned.
Acceptance:
- Edition and account dependency are stated beside export wording.
- No added numeric price, discount, guarantee or timing promise.
- Unknown price and timing remain unknown; commercial reviewer approval required before real adaptation.
- Existing commercial fields preserved in diff; source and synthetic labels retained.
Recheck: Only after the edition block is publicly accessible and relevant comparable scope is approved.
Rollback: Revert the bounded explanatory block using the recorded prior page revision.
DEMO-WO-03 , Prepare a current-name correction (P3)
Independent listing name conflict is supported, but a third-party change depends on its owner.
Affected fixture URL: https://example.com/demo/directory/northstar. Evidence: DEMO-PAGE-03, DEMO-FACT-03.
Proposed change: Prepare only this correction draft for the authorized source owner: “The current fictional product name is Northstar Lab. Northstar Notes is the former name. Please update the current-name field while retaining historical references where relevant. Supporting exercise evidence: DEMO-DOC-02.” Do not send or alter the external listing.
Scope: One correction draft; no sending from this lane, paid placement, review campaign or promised acceptance.
Dependencies: Current-name approval; Verified recipient and authority; Explicit send authorization under the actual project.
Recommended role: Authorized source-correction owner; product reviewer. Real owner, approver and due date remain unassigned.
Acceptance:
- Exact current-name field identified; source supports current and former names.
- Draft distinguishes requested update, submission and actual source change.
- No invented recipient, impersonation, paid placement or review request.
- Authorized sender and recipient remain unconfirmed until the real project owner verifies them.
- Historical receipts unchanged; synthetic labels retained.
Recheck: Only when the actual listing change is verified; a sent request alone is insufficient.
Rollback: Draft can be withdrawn locally. A submitted request has no assumed reverse action; reconcile with source owner.
Next decision and uncertainty
This is a teaching package, so it creates no commercial obligation or measured business result. In a real Audit, proceed only if independently supported work is useful to the buyer and falls within an approved scope. Otherwise refine questions, gather missing evidence or recommend no additional purchase. The follow-up fixture illustrates no mention improvement in one matched pair and a failed follow-up in another; neither is hidden.

Review and delivery state
This fictional teaching example does not represent a delivered client Audit. Its source records are available above; no live provider calls or client access are involved. Human review: not recorded.
