Which transportation software does ChatGPT recommend?
For transportation software, start with the operation in the question. ChatGPT named Descartes in 12 of 30 valid answers captured on 22 September 2026, including all three answers about a mid-sized freight brokerage. The enterprise-shipper question instead named Blue Yonder in all three answers and Descartes in none. These recorded names give you candidates to investigate, without establishing which system suits your freight business.
What we measured
Measured. The September Index release contains ten transportation questions, observed three times each on ChatGPT. All 30 answers were usable. The questions distinguish brokers, carriers and shippers, as well as named-product comparisons and general buying criteria. Captures are dated 22 September 2026, with publication on 23 September.
Descartes appeared in 40.0 percent of these answers. Its descriptive 95 percent Wilson interval is 24.6 to 57.7 percent; this fixed broker, carrier and shipper question set is not a representative survey of transportation buyers.

Sixteen of the 25 checked vendors appeared at least once. The table is alphabetical, retaining all nine zero rows. It is limited to the release's checked names and recorded aliases, so a zero does not mean an answer contained no other transportation product. Several names can occur in the same answer.
The broker and enterprise examples are three-answer subsets of this panel. Blue Yonder's category count was six, and its three enterprise appearances belong inside that total. Counting these examples again would inflate the panel.
Every figure comes from the published method, v1.1.
What this means for you
Reasoned. Decide whether you are evaluating brokerage work, carrier operations or shipper planning before reading the counts. A broad transportation label can conceal that distinction. Open the relevant question record and read the explanation around each name, including any qualifications around the comparison.
Write down the work a candidate must support, then seek product evidence for it. For example, if a particular handoff between teams matters, ask for a demonstration of that handoff under your conditions. The twelve Descartes appearances do not verify an integration, a contract term or an operating result.
When presenting this finding to a colleague, retain the engine, question and date. A category total can describe how often a checked name occurred across this fixed collection. It cannot explain the engine's selection process or turn a new answer into the same observation.

Use the broker, carrier or shipper context that matches your task when reading a result from Free 10-question check (one engine). Keep the answer text beside the question before researching a candidate. No email is needed; runs are limited per network and per day, and by the site's daily allowance.
If that answer misstates one supported transportation-product fact, a correction through Fix one answer, $490 can focus on the claim and its dated source. It does not buy a place in a shortlist.
Claiming or correcting a vendor record is free and never depends on a purchase.
