Which sources do AI answers cite for insurance agency software?

Insurance-agency software answers drew on a mix of hosts: g2.com appeared in 67 of 150 valid answer source lists captured on 22 September 2026, while hawksoft.com and ezlynx.com each appeared in 37. The category recorded 170 distinct hosts. Those counts help you locate a source to inspect; they do not show which passage persuaded an engine to name an agency system.

What we measured

Measured. We recounted the cited URLs attached to the September insurance-agency answers. Ten fixed questions each had three scheduled answers on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. All 150 answers were valid. Captures took place on 22 September 2026, and the release was published the next day.

The g2.com result is 44.7 percent of valid answer source lists, with a descriptive 95 percent Wilson interval of 36.9 to 52.7 percent. It concerns this fixed collection of agency questions, without estimating what every agency buyer or future answer will cite.

Selected cited host Valid answers citing that host
ezlynx.com 37 of 150
g2.com 67 of 150
hawksoft.com 37 of 150
quotesweep.com 37 of 150
ustechautomations.com 60 of 150
www1.appliedsystems.com 42 of 150

These are six selected examples from the 170 hosts, listed alphabetically. A host contributes at most one count to an answer even if several URLs on it are cited. The figures pool all five engines; they are not a ChatGPT-specific citation rate.

The exact host matters. www1.appliedsystems.com occurred in 42 source lists, while appliedsystems.com occurred in one. Keep those labels separate when looking up a record. Adding their counts would require checking whether the same answer contained both hosts.

Every figure comes from the published method, v1.1.

What this means for you

Reasoned. Start with the agency work described by the question. A new agency with two producers, a commercial-lines brokerage and a benefits agency give a reader different claims to verify. Find the corresponding answer before picking a source from the category-wide list.

Open the precise cited URL and read the passage supporting the product statement. Record the system, module and evidence date. A link somewhere on a large host does not verify every assertion about a product, and this host count does not establish a purchase or an agency's use of the software.

For a report, retain the original answer beside the citation record. If a page description is inaccurate, explain the specific mismatch before proposing a correction. The count can direct that inspection; it supplies no tested reason why a different supplier was omitted.

Next step

Read the agency question and retained source links in Free 10-question check (one engine). Follow the particular claim that needs verification. No email is needed; runs are limited per network and per day, and by the site's daily allowance.

If a dated public source resolves one incorrect agency-product statement, Fix one answer, $490 can address that page fact. Keep the correction separate from any later change in naming.

Claiming or correcting a vendor record is free and never depends on a purchase.
