Why is my property management software missing from AI answers?
Condo Control, ManageCasa and Property Matrix had no recorded names in 148 valid property-management answers captured on 22 September 2026. Those three were part of a 22-vendor roster. Their absence is measured; the reason each was missing is not. To investigate your own product, locate its question and matched label before choosing a page change.
What we measured
Measured. The September collection scheduled ten questions with three runs each on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Two scheduled Overview observations returned no AI Overview and were excluded, leaving 148 valid answers. Each zero below is 0 of 148, or 0.0 percent, with a descriptive 95 percent Wilson interval of 0.0 to 2.5 percent. Capture was 22 September 2026 and publication was 23 September.

The Buildium-versus-AppFolio question left 19 of the 22 checked vendors unnamed across 14 valid answers. Its missing Overview belongs to the exclusions, rather than counting as a brand absence. The other excluded observation was on the software-evaluation-criteria question. Separately, pooled citations included buildium.com in 75 of 148 answers and appfolio.com in 38. Those source hosts do not explain the three whole-category zeros.
What this means for you
Reasoned. Ask which property-management decision the omission concerns. The collection distinguishes a small landlord, a landlord with fifty units and a growing management company. An aggregate zero covers all ten questions; a missing name in one comparison covers much less. Save the relevant question, engine, answer date and product identity together.
Check the roster before reporting a result. An unlisted product has not acquired a measured zero simply because you cannot find it here. For a listed product, inspect the matched label and aliases in the record. Keep the observed name separate from assumptions about which edition or service the answer meant.
Read the cited pages for the answer you are investigating. If a comparison confuses the audience or attaches an unsupported capability to your product, retain the disputed sentence and a dated document that resolves it. If the pages contain no demonstrable error, keep the cause unknown. Source presence alone cannot show why an engine omitted a name.
Choose a correction with a concrete end point. For example, specify the product identity and supported fact to clarify, the source to cite and the served page to inspect. That record lets a colleague assess the work. It does not promise that a future landlord question will include the company or that an answer will produce an enquiry.
