Why is my dental software missing from AI answers?
A comparison question can leave most of the checked dental vendors out. In the 22 September 2026 captures, the Dentrix-versus-Eaglesoft question left 16 of 20 vendors unnamed across its 15 valid answers; across the full 149-answer dental panel, four checked vendors were never named. Those observations establish the gaps, without explaining why your software was omitted.
What we measured
Measured. The September dental panel used ten fixed questions and three runs on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Of 150 scheduled observations, 149 were valid; one Google AI Overviews observation returned no Overview. The table retains the vendors with zero naming observations across that valid collection.
| Checked vendor | Named answers |
|---|---|
| Dentally | 0 of 149 |
| DSN | 0 of 149 |
| MacPractice | 0 of 149 |
| XLDent | 0 of 149 |
For each zero-of-149 row, the descriptive 95 percent Wilson interval is 0.0 to 2.5 percent. The event is a name matched in an answer under the published rule, not a test of clinical work, installation numbers or product availability. The data was published on 23 September 2026.
Question bases also differ: the very-small-office question has 14 valid answers, while the Dentrix-versus-Eaglesoft comparison has 15. The observation without an Overview is excluded from the valid base; it is not another answer in which a vendor was absent.
Every figure comes from the published method, v1.1.
What this means for you
Reasoned. Keep the practice situation in view. A new practice choosing its first system, a very small office and a dental service organisation with several locations are separate questions in this bank. If your concern is one of those settings, read that question's retained answers before applying the category-wide zero list.
Check the product identity next. A practice-management brand, an edition and a related product should not be merged just to make a mention count look better. Preserve the study's checked name and aliases while reviewing what the answer actually says. If the current product has changed since capture, keep the historical observation dated and assess the new fact separately.
If a citation describes your software incorrectly, compare the exact passage with a dated product source. medixdental.com appeared in 47 of 149 source lists in this category, but pooled source counts do not identify the cause of a missing vendor name. A content correction needs its own specific factual basis; an absence does not prove that a feature is unavailable or that a practice should reject the product.

Try Free 10-question check (one engine) with the practice size and the precise software question you need to inspect. Retain any product claim and its source for review. No email is needed; runs are limited per network and per day, and by the site's daily allowance.
When one retained dental-software statement conflicts with documented product facts, Fix one answer, $490 can address that correction. Clinical suitability remains a separate question for the practice.
Claiming or correcting a vendor record is free and never depends on a purchase.
