Which radiology software does Perplexity recommend?
In the radiology panel captured on 22 September 2026, Perplexity named Sectra in 18 of 30 answers, Intelerad in 15 and Visage Imaging in 14. Eighteen of the 24 checked vendors appeared at least once. These counts locate names in recorded software answers; they do not establish clinical performance, interoperability or a purchasing recommendation.
What we measured
Measured. The published release combines three Perplexity runs of ten fixed imaging-software questions, giving thirty valid answers. Sectra's 18 of 30 produces 60.0%, with a descriptive 95% Wilson interval of 42.3% to 75.4%. All captures in this engine/category panel are dated 22 September 2026, with publication on 23 September.

The outpatient RIS question named Fujifilm (Synapse), AbbaDox and eRAD in all three answers, alongside MedInformatix in two and RamSoft in one. The small-imaging-centre PACS question instead named Sectra and Visage Imaging three times each. RIS and PACS wording therefore matters when reading these counts.
The release retains its published vendor identities. Pro Medicus and Visage Imaging have separate rows here; the table should not be rewritten into a corporate hierarchy. A matched name is counted once per answer, while cited publishers are a different measurement. No imaging task, deployment or diagnostic operation was tested by this naming panel.
Every figure comes from the published method, v1.1.
What this means for you
Reasoned. Start with the system and setting in the question. An outpatient RIS request does not ask the same thing as a hospital PACS comparison. Keep that distinction in the notes you take from a saved answer, rather than merging every name into one undifferentiated shortlist.
For a proposed integration, retrieve the relevant product and interface documentation. Identify the edition and operation the answer describes, and record any point the available source cannot establish. A familiar name cannot resolve that gap.
If you publish a comparison, label it as Perplexity naming in this dated collection. The six zero rows and the exact question set belong beside the nonzero counts. The observations do not identify why an engine selected a name or support claims about patient outcomes.

Use Free 10-question check (one engine) to inspect a precisely scoped imaging-software question and retain its full wording for evidence review. No email is needed; runs are limited per network and per day, and by the site's daily allowance.
For one incorrect, documented software statement, Fix one answer, $490 offers a defined factual correction. Clinical and system-acceptance decisions require their separate professional checks.
Claiming or correcting a vendor record is free and never depends on a purchase.
