How do Profound and seoClarity compare?
Choose the output you need before comparing Profound with seoClarity: a disputed-claim review and a dated record of site changes are different jobs. Our September Index recorded HubSpot’s own domain in 24 of 30 ChatGPT CRM answers on 22 September 2026. That engine-specific source count illustrates a measurement input, rather than scoring either product’s checking or change-record functions.
What we measured
Reported. Profound’s FactCheck page, read on 29 October 2026, describes extracting factual claims, checking them against a customer Knowledge Base and showing source URLs. seoClarity’s accuracy page describes checking AI statements against trusted company content. Its change-record article describes dated annotations on the ArcAI visibility chart.
Measured. Our released CRM records count HubSpot’s domain in twenty-four ChatGPT answers across ten questions and three repeats. This is an own-domain citation event, rather than verification of each statement in those answers or a product comparison trial.
Reasoned. The documented functions help specify a comparison. They cannot determine a winner for an unspecified use case or establish that either provider caused an answer to change.
What this means for you
Ask what is being checked. Profound describes atomic factual claims compared with a Knowledge Base, with subjective statements routed to its sentiment function. A HubSpot citation in our panel does not by itself establish that the surrounding answer correctly states HubSpot’s pricing or policy; a fact-checking requirement needs the particular assertion and the reference used to judge it.
For seoClarity’s change record, the artifact is different. Its published article describes an annotation with a date, title, description and group, scoped to a brand, topic or prompt tag. That record can identify when a pricing page changed while the visibility chart records what happened around it. The article expressly says an annotation does not prove causation.
The accuracy function should also be separated from those chart notes. seoClarity’s accuracy page describes flagging unsupported or outdated information against trusted content; a team-entered annotation is not itself that factual comparison. If you need a source-backed correction, inspect the accuracy evidence rather than treating a chart flag as a verdict.
