What AI visibility products does Hotwire GAIO.tech offer?
On 27 March 2025, Hotwire announced that Spark was the tool formerly called GAIO.tech, separate from its Ignite account-intelligence product. To distinguish visibility outputs, our Volume II study found 25 of 85 companies received more own-domain citations than name appearances on 18 and 23 July 2026.
What we measured
Reported. Hotwire's 27 March 2025 announcement, read on 29 October 2026, calls Spark the tool formerly known as GAIO.tech and distinguishes it from Ignite, an account-intelligence product. The Spark description concerns how brands appear in chatbots and the sources behind those appearances.
The current AI consulting page, read the same day, describes Ignite as account research using internal and external information. It separately lists GEO and AI visibility services concerning representation, competitors, missing products and cited media. That body should not be replaced with a catalog inferred from an older search extract.
Measured. The Volume II study design separates names from own-domain citations in an 85-company sample. Its 25 cited-more-than-named companies show why product descriptions should specify whether their output concerns names, citations or another signal. The study cannot verify Hotwire's tools, outcomes or present availability of every historical product name.
What this means for you
Keep Ignite's task distinct. Combining CRM information with external account research is the current page's reported account-intelligence use. It is not the same documented output as counting an answer engine's citations to a brand's domain, even though both sit under Hotwire's AI consulting work.
Hotwire's current GEO section specifically describes identifying products or services left out of answers and the media sources shaping those answers. Those two fields can distinguish a product name from a supporting citation, the separation behind our twenty-five company cases. Ask for the reported GEO output before treating an Ignite account-research deliverable as a visibility measurement.
The March 2025 rename supplies a historical identity link between GAIO.tech and Spark. It does not establish that every feature in that announcement is currently sold under an identical package. If you are reconciling an old proposal with the current page, retain both names and source dates beside the specific deliverable rather than silently assigning a historical Spark feature to Ignite.
