How do Suede and AthenaHQ differ beyond price for a PAC?

Compare Suede's issue-and-audience fields with AthenaHQ's brand metrics before reducing the choice to price. Our Index, dated 22 September 2026, recorded 1 answer citing a HubSpot-domain URL in the Claude CRM set of 30. Its HubSpot-domain reference illustrates a website-citation unit, which differs from the stance or sentiment fields these products describe.

What we measured

Measured. The Index method and records retain thirty Claude CRM answers: three returns for each of ten buyer questions. One answer contains a URL under HubSpot's root domain, counted at most once in that answer. This is a software-buyer citation example, not a PAC observation or a test of price, account rights or political effectiveness.

Reported. Suede's Public Affairs and Platform pages, read on 30 October 2026, describe persona-based questions about issues and report stance, sentiment, share of voice and sources. AthenaHQ's FAQ, read on 29 October, lists brand mentions, citations, recommendation rate, sentiment and content gaps. The separately Athena-supported Answer Signal research method distinguishes citation frequency from recommendation or commercial impact and defines source-format categories.

Reasoned. A cited-domain count answers a website-reference question. For a neutral software-procurement comparison, it cannot stand in for whether an issue description is favorable or whether a provider's reported fields match the intended report.

What this means for you

Keep the field name. The one retained HubSpot-domain URL is a blog path ending /sales/microsoft-dynamics-vs-zoho. Recording that website as a source does not assign a stance label to the answer. That makes the citation unit a concrete item to distinguish from a product's separate sentiment field.

Suede's public-affairs description centers its reported monitoring on issues and audiences, rather than only one commercial brand. It says the captured answer has stance, sentiment, share-of-voice and source fields. If your PAC's procurement question concerns the structure of an issue-monitoring report, those are the disclosed software objects to compare, without adopting the page's promotional influence claims.

The Athena-supported Answer Signal method supplies a specific source-format rule. An answer can cite more than one format, so its format-prevalence percentages overlap. The method groups Reddit, Quora, G2 and Trustpilot as community and reviews, while YouTube and TikTok are video sources.
