How do Suede and Profound compare for permitting and community narratives at an energy company?

Favorable stance is not factual accuracy. Suede documents monitoring for energy projects and their audiences; Profound documents claim verification. Our Wrong About You study labels 12 of 77 Open Dental statements wrong or stale, from quotations captured on 22 September 2026 and vendor references checked on 8 October. Those are factual-status labels, not sentiment scores.

What we measured

Measured. The published study and method retain 57 true, eight wrong, four stale and eight unverifiable statements in the Open Dental row. The twelve flagged items divide into four wrong pricing claims, four stale pricing claims and four wrong platform claims. Team review remains in progress. This dental-software classification does not test energy-sector supplier performance, permitting outcomes or regulatory compliance.

Reported. Suede's regulated-industries page, read on 30 October 2026, names utilities and energy, facilities, permitting officers and nearby residents. It describes stance, sentiment and cited-source monitoring, with approval before material ships. Profound's FactCheck page, read on 29 October, describes checking atomic factual claims against a Knowledge Base and routing subjective statements to Sentiment. Its FAQ lists FactCheck for Enterprise customers.

Reasoned. A project's stated safety record or incident date can raise a factual-reference question even when an answer's stance is favorable. Our retained wrong/stale partition illustrates why that task differs from a sentiment field; Suede's energy-specific description supplies the actual project/audience scope.

What this means for you

Read the claim class. In our example, a stale pricing assertion and a wrong deployment assertion occupy different retained categories. The source preserves the original quote, its capture date and the later vendor-reference check. That gives a concrete distinction between a dated fact problem and whether the answer's wording sounds positive or negative.

For your energy project's public-information workflow, Suede names facilities, safety records, filings and community-benefit pages as the material being monitored. Its question personas include permitting officers and residents near a site. Those are specific reported subjects and audiences for monitoring; the page also places a team-approval point before drafted material is published.

Profound's description centers on a verifiable assertion and the maintained reference used to check it. Its Knowledge Base can contain policies and specifications, while the claim view supplies the flagged assertion and source attribution. Subjective statements go to its Sentiment function, keeping that described evaluation separate from the factual-claim score.
