Who has documented results from GEO work in ChatGPT?
If you need a named ChatGPT GEO case, Suede's Koomba report counts answers that name or cite its customer. Our 22 September 2026 Index supplies a naming-only example: Close appears in 3 answers out of the 30 ChatGPT CRM returns. A naming-only count and a named-or-cited rate describe different observations.
What we measured
Measured. The September Index release and method retain ten CRM questions with three ChatGPT returns apiece. Close's checked name appears in three of the 30 answers, all in the scaling-small-sales-team question. This count concerns a software-vendor name in our own fixed question panel.
Reported. Suede's Koomba case is dated 21 October 2026 and was read on 30 October. Its ChatGPT table reports answers naming or citing Koomba at 0.32% for 11 to 20 August 2026 and 2.14% for 11 to 20 September 2026. The case describes general questions that do not name Koomba and a website launch on 28 July 2026. We did not reproduce that monitoring, obtain its complete question list and per-window answer bases, or isolate the rebuild's causal effect.
Reasoned. Our Close count makes the naming-only unit explicit. It cannot be substituted for Suede's union of naming and citation when reading the reported ChatGPT rates, and the CRM buyer panel is a different population from Koomba's coaching questions.
What this means for you
Read the union. Suede defines visibility as an answer naming Koomba or citing a Koomba page. A cited page can therefore satisfy that reported definition even when a naming-only test would not. If your report repeats the case's 2.14% value, keep that named-or-cited definition with it rather than describing it as a rate of name mentions alone.
In our comparison record, Close appears in every ChatGPT return for the question about CRM options for a small sales team that is scaling. Those three returns sit inside the thirty-answer CRM panel. Their numerator concerns the checked supplier name; the retained question makes clear that these are software-buyer answers, rather than Suede's questions for athletes or parents seeking coaching.
The case's calendar supplies another specific boundary. The two displayed table windows fall in August and September, while the stated site launch is in July. Both displayed windows are after the reported 28 July 2026 launch.
