What jobs involve answer engine optimization?

Answer engine optimization involves factual editing, technical publication and measurement work. Our Wrong About You study marks 14 of 38 CosmoLex statements wrong using 22 September 2026 captures and 8 October reference checks. Those records give a concrete source-review task to someone writing or measuring company answers; they are not a survey of job vacancies.

Observed answers on stated dates, not a ranking.

What we measured

Measured. The published statement-review method separates distinct claims from their repeated observations. CosmoLex has twenty-one true, fourteen wrong and three unverifiable statements, with none stale. One retained entry states a starting price without a billing basis; another attaches an annual billing basis to that amount. Both point to the vendor pricing page read on 8 October. Team review: in progress. The study did not measure employment demand or career outcomes.

The retained historical Claude statement, captured on 22 September 2026, contains this billing-basis fragment:

per user per month, billed annually.

The full pricing statement was marked wrong against the vendor reference read on 8 October 2026. This fragment retains its billing qualification and is not the complete price claim or a current vendor price. Team review: in progress.

Reported. Google's AI features guidance, read on 29 October 2026, identifies indexing and snippet eligibility as requirements for supporting links. It also describes crawl access, internal links and textual page content.

Reasoned. A factual editor can examine the two distinct price propositions, a technical publisher can work on the documented page conditions, and an analyst can report the study's counts and remaining unknowns. These are work functions illustrated by the evidence.

What this means for you

Keep the qualification. The first CosmoLex price entry omits a billing basis; the second explicitly says annual billing. A factual editor would preserve that difference while reading the retained vendor reference. Combining them into a single loose price claim would remove the part of the sentence that the reference check needs to address.

Technical publication concerns a different record. Google's supporting-link guidance concerns whether the published page is indexed and allowed to show a snippet. Those conditions are properties of a URL and its search settings, rather than properties of the CosmoLex answer quotation. The work can therefore belong to a technical SEO (search engine optimization) practitioner even when an editor has already corrected the proposed factual text.

For measurement work, the three unverifiable CosmoLex statements remain visible beside the fourteen wrong entries. An analyst needs to preserve those classes and the thirty-eight-statement base. The retained observations also show when a claim recurs in several answers; recurrence belongs in the supporting record rather than silently increasing the number of distinct claims.
